Your breath is a tidal wave,
the rise and fall of our ribcages
rolling slowly, the bones expanding
and spreading, folding and retreating.
Your skin tastes like salt; sometimes,
I feel as old as the ocean.
Aphrodite was born from the sea,
gliding onto shore in a shell.
The delicate shell of your ear is a
roadmap to our affection, I run my
fingertips along the curl of skin
as your sigh ghosts across my face.
We are the perfect storm, a maelstrom
of heady passion and calm affection;
my heart swells like a water balloon
that we threaten to crush between us.
Your mouth traces wind patterns across
my body, drifting across the breakers of my bones.
We are the tugging insistence of the current,
the unstoppable force of the crashing water.
We have become entangled in each other,
a collision of two catastrophic entities
that will tear the shoreline to shreds.
We are building to an inevitable cataclysm.

Insomnia
When sleep, like life, eludes me .......
...... life giving sleep overcomes everyone but me ....
life sapping concienceness drains me ....
My crimson shadowy wraith wakens and fills the slumber with it's grip of dark thoughts ... my mind races my soul cringes .....
The beauty of life but a twinkle in the crushing darkness of dispair ...... a flicker of light, the glimpse of a smile, the warmth of a touch ...... but a trickle .. like a single tear ....
............. the cold bitter dark, unrelenting throbbing, deafening, mindnumbing soul destroying pain!
....... like Ten thousand times Ten black holes ripping through the subatomic fibre

Paranoia
Yesterday I accidently broke my neighbor's car window.
My neighbor is huge and strong, I had to do something.
So I tried to tell him that I was sorry, but he did not listen.
I am so worried of what he is going to do. Is he going to call the police, my parents, or even the school? Or will he just go after me directly?
Maybe I should just tell my parents what happened and then they can take care of it.
No, they could not help me, they would hand me right to him.
I have to look over my shoulder to make sure he is not following, but somehow I know he is, waiting for the opportunity to make me pay.
He would try and catch me, maybe I shoul

Insomnia
She felt as though
4am was a kind of peace
The harsh light of day barely prickling
At a horizon not yet ready to give up the dark
And a soul can rest
Bathed in the blue light
Of a monitor upon which
The heart could spill, showing forth to apathetic eyes
Sleep eludes her at these times
Giving away nothing
Eyes frantically wide
In a futile effort to convince herself it’s all for something

Some of you may have read this before, since it was posted to dA and I am not sure what happened to it...

Are the images consistent? Is there anything that stands out as "not fitting"? What about word choice?
